Early German State Stamps
These stamps represent the best of Early German stamps before the unification of Germany in 1871. The Germany Philatelic Society, USA is proud to sponsor this website, and our study group, The German State Stamp Study Group,  that celebrates these stamps and their beauty, their history, and their complexity.   While this is not a site dedicated to stamp authentication, this website helps to educate those interested in the history of Germany and its early stamps, while serving as a warning to those who collect where the areas of fraudulent activity might be.
